Weekend at the cabin

Here's my baby sister (Ziggy calls her McChicken!) with Uncle Zacky-boy at the cabin. It was siesta time mom says!

Look, I went really fast on the tubes! Bampa Rick started slow when Porter was on with us but I kept saying that I wanted to go faster! It was really fun when the other tube ran into us! Mommy even came on the tubes with us!

We jumped in the water off the pontoon and then went to the shore to walk in the soft sand. This picture nicely shows my sandal tan :). My favorite thing to do this summer is to jump off the diving board at gram's house or to jump in the deep water off the pontoon. And I never want anyone to catch me!

Kenna is 1 month old!

Hi, this is Candon again, my mom was updating my blog for a while, but I'm back now. I think I'm funnier than my mom! The first time mom let me paint I had to use a brush and not make a mess. I told mom that it was boring so she let me use my fingers instead! Mom was making a sign for Kenna so I thought that I should get a sign too especially since Kenna got to paint her WHOLE hand and foot. It tickled to get my hand and foot painted, but it was fun! Kenna still has a green pinky toe...

McKenna Marie, born 7/1/11

My baby girl is here! When we found out it was a girl I was so excited and grinned ear to ear. Now that she's here it just gets better and better every day, I can't imagine life without her. I can only hope to have a relationship with her like I have with my mom. Only I won't let her move a whole state away from me ;)

Candon is being a great big brother. First he asked if we could put her back into my tummy but now he wants to hold her all the time and gives her the "yum yums" when she cries.

Amanda Andrews took her newborn pictures and I couldn't be happier with them. I have this picture all over the house. Kevin thinks I'm a little obsessed with it!

I love to hold baby Maiah (my cousin)! Well, for a minute or so, then I try to push her off of me when she starts moving too much!

Bring on Spring!

I am ready for spring! Here I am with my mom and my baby sister (22 weeks), you can't see her though because she's in mommy's tummy!

My dad put me in the washing machine...doesn't he remember that I love to shower? I think a shower would be much safer!

We went to the Play Lab in Mankato a couple of weeks ago with Braylon and Porter and Amanda and Gwamma. We had a lot of fun! The tape maze was awesome!


This weekend Braylon and Porter and Ben and Amanda came to my house! We got to go to the Children's Museum and to Chucky Cheese! I will keep asking my mom when Braylon and Porter and Ben and Amanda are coming back to my house, if I ask her every day, maybe they can come back in March! I hope so!

It's Christmas time!

I sat on Santa's lap but I wouldn't look at him! Mom said I wanted choo-choos. When we were leaving I did yell "Bye Santa" and waved at him. I should get some credit for that right? I think I should be on the good boy list!

I smiled very nicely when I was a penguin! I was just happy because Daddy gave me hot chocolate in a sippy so I could stay nice and warm while we walked through the Rotary Lights. Yum!

For Rojo...

I loved decorating the Christmas tree with mom and dad! Now I know why mom wants to decorate on November 1st instead of waiting until after Thanksgiving! I'm waiting for my advent calendar so I can eat chocolate before dinner every day until Christmas!

I spent a week in New Ulm because my parents went to Mexico without me! :( But I had a great time with Gwamma, Gwampa, Ziggy, Braylon (and Baxter and Maddie of course). It was so fun playing at Gwamma's and going to the cabin for Memorial Day that I was kind of sad to come back home! THEN, to make it worse, I had to start a new daycare when I came back! So, mom says I've been a bear ever since! I'm getting better, I think...maybe... :) She still loves me though :)

Daddy looooooves his garden. And he should, it's pretty awesome. Today I helped him plant some sweet corn. He planted the first row in like March mom says! We have to plant them at different times otherwise mom says corn will be coming out of my ears! That sounds scary! My favorite part of the garden is the dirt. Mom actually lets me go in there!

I don't smile nice for my mom for pictures. I figure if I do then she will never put the darn camera down. But, I did let her trick me. She made me show her where my teeth were! How can you do that without smiling?! Tricky mommy!

I make my mom crack up. I push her away from the kitchen counter when she's making dinner because I want her to play with me instead. So tonight she gave me a pan and a potato to play with. Little did she remember, that in the end, I'm still just a boy.
